FAQ

Common questions about working with us.

01

How do you price projects?

It depends on the work. For clearly defined projects, we normally agree a fixed price around specific deliverables. For ongoing advisory or development, a retained arrangement often works better. Either way, we agree the scope and costs upfront so there are no unexpected invoices.

02

Do you need payment upfront?

For most projects, yes. We usually take an initial payment before work begins, with the remaining balance linked to agreed milestones. The exact arrangement depends on the size and nature of the project.

03

What industries do you work with?

We work across professional organisations, commercial businesses and innovation-led work. Experience includes professional services, housing, education, retail, transport, digital products, research and AI ventures.

04

What technologies do you work with?

We don't believe in forcing every project onto the same technology stack. We choose what makes sense for the problem, while generally favouring modern, well supported tools and AI-assisted development approaches.

05

Do you only work on AI projects?

No. While AI is a focus area, we also help with broader software development, data systems, automation, dashboards and business intelligence. The right solution depends on the problem, not the technology trend.

06

What happens after launch?

Launching the system is only the beginning. We can continue working with you on improvements, maintenance, user training, new features and ongoing development as your needs evolve.

07

How do I know if AI is right for my organisation?

The best way is to start with a conversation. We assess whether AI creates genuine value for your specific workflows and constraints, not whether it fits a general narrative. If it doesn't make sense, we'll say so.

08

Where are you based?

We're based in the UK and work with organisations primarily across the UK and Europe. Most engagements work well remotely, though we can meet in person when it helps.

Still have questions?

We're happy to discuss your specific situation and how we might be able to help.
